Enrollment Procedures
Membership in Enchanted Southwest Artists Online is by a juried process. Prospective members are invited to submit one image of their work for evaluation. Applicants will then be notified by email or USPS mail of their status. If accepted for display, artists will then complete a membership registration form for online submission or to remit by mail.
Physical Exhibitions
All members are eligible to be part of our physical exhibitions. We are currently exhibiting in Socorro, New Mexico, and intend on broadening our exhibition area throughout the southwest. Potential exhibitioners will be directed to this web site to view art for display at their locations. If an exhibitioner is interested in an artist's work, we will be contacting the artist to request pieces for exhibit. Members are free to accept or decline for any reason.

For just $10.00 per year, you are allowed to upload 10 images to our site for display. Each image slot may be changed out for another image of your work two times per membership period. Over the course of the year you could get exposure for 30 of your pieces.
For as little as $125.00 more per year, you as a member may have your own web pages dedicated to your work. These web sites are built by SunFox Web Creations and allow you to conduct business, display your entire collection, and have the freedom to express yourself online.
These web sites are available to members only. After you join, you have the option of enrolling for one of these programs in the members area.

For custom-built sites outside the parameters listed above, visit SunFox Web Creations. You can get a site made any way you like, and receive an artist's discount. Ask for details.
Web Site Maintenance
Web sites will be set up in order to facilitate their upkeep and operation. We will provide instructions on how to upload images, rewrite text, and make minor adjustments. We also offer a reasonable amount of maintenance for more complicated tasks. In any case, technical support is always available free of charge.
For more advanced issues, such as site rebuilding (Custom and Advanced packages), contact us for the costs involved. And if you need us to manage your site entirely, maintenance packages are available. Just let us know what you need.
Credit Card Processing Requirements
Many of those wishing to do business online are interesting in accepting credit cards. If you want to accept credit cards, there are a number of things to bear in mind:
- You must have a bank account where deposits from your sales will be made.
- You must have a credit card processor - a bank or a merchant services provider.
- You need a shopping cart or a series of "buy now" buttons by which a purchase is made.
We do not provide the software or accounts necessary for your site if you are doing the payment processing yourself. Keep in mind that shopping cart and/or processing software and services are usually not free. However, there are several "open source" packages available which offer low-cost or free usage, usually with more limited features and options to customize. Also, credit card processors Charge Two Fees: a set per-transaction fee along with a discount charge, or a percentage of the sale withheld by the company as a fee for their services.
Think of all this as you decide how you want your web site to do business, or what prices you are going to ask for your work. We are able to help you make the right decisions for your needs, but ultimately the choices are yours.
Payment Processing Services
If you wish to do business online with your own web site but don't want to handle the transactions, we offer payment processing. We can accept payment in most forms and take care of all the details involving the monetary transaction for a modest fee.
- Cash, money order or check - 5.00% of transaction
- Credit card processing - 9.50%
- Papal processing - 9.50%
- Payment in chickens, gold bullion, or happy thoughts - 6.00%
